Sunday, March 15, 2015. Yesterday we were all outside working in our garden. I was sitting down holding Scarlett while Mallie and Charles hoed the garden. Mallie was actually doing a fantastic job. She asked "Dad what are we going to grow in our garden. Charles says something like tomatoes or carrots. Mallie replies " I wanna grow flowers and rainbows.". Love how this child thinks. I don't actually remember learning the definition of epithet but if anyone had asked I would have said it was a slur against someone. ie.two-faced. However, did you know that "Alexander the Great" is also an epithet? It's going to take me a while to get used to the idea that calling someone a "peacemaker" is indeed an epithet.

I was a little skeptical at first that it would be so delicious; orange juice, brown sugar and molasses sounded a little too simple of a combination to make a delicious feast.
