The Tree
Inspiration by Charles Collins. In my childhood there was a tree. It grew on the river edge in the park where we would play. Half it’s roots grew into the river, desperately grasping for purchase in the running water. Yet the tree kept standing, its reminding roots only growing stronger for it’s predicament.
