Fri April 28th We left Manteo,NC where we stayed the night in the marina. It is in the Outer Banks north of Hatteras. We had dinner at the Trellis overlooking the boats. Myrtle Beach SC to Little River SC. 15 hrs, 5 miles. About 8:00 AM we left Barefoot Landing and went to a boatyard with a lift that could haul us out and we could get a look at the props. We waited about an hour for the tide to come in so we could get into the well and lift the boat out and see the damage. It’s amazing that anything gets accomplished. Progress" is a 1999 Seray Sundancer 400 with a waterline length of 42'. The home port is Toledo OH, and it is currently berthed at the City Marina in Charleston SC. The boat was purchased in Dec. and right now I am in the process of preparing the boat and myself for the journey. Wilson, NY to Oswego, NY. 120 mi, 5.5 hrs. Well the threatened winds and rain haven't arrived yet so we are headed to Oswego, without delay. We leave Wilson around 9:30 AM and head out into Lake Ontario in 3 waves. The sun is out and it's warm, and there is little to do but enjoy.
