Thursday, December 13, 2012. A Helping of Gingerbread. This year the Gingerbread Book Sale was held during Conference Days. Previously, it had been part of the Holiday Fair, but that event wasn't available this year and we did not want to lose this fundraiser to help community families during the holidays. It also gave a few 4th graders the opportunity to work as "clerks" to handle book sales (everything was $1.00 each! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). OPAC - Destiny at Charlestown School.

Charlestown School Library: Here We Are - 2013

http://charlestownschoollibrary.blogspot.com/2013/01/here-we-are-2013.html

Sunday, January 6, 2013. Here We Are - 2013. No picture this time, but I want to note a couple of blog items for December and our new year. The Gingerbread Book Sale. Has often been the topic of this blog in the last year and a half. A few students have added to my own contributions when they wanted to display a "wondrous" item for others to see. In an effort to allow others, a schedule has been established for kids to bring in nature items for the Wonder Table. This is not mandatory! March - 2nd graders.

http://charlestownschoollibrary.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html

Friday, January 18, 2013. Wonders" of 4th Grade. This photo shows the latest contributions from 4th graders to our Wonder Table. The background is a framed snakeskin from a rattlesnake. In front, the basket holds a mystery. Object. It came from Hunter. Brought it in to his classroom and Mrs. Fee suggested it for the Wonder Table. Hunter says it came from a beach in Florida and he thinks it might be a fossil conch shell. We really don't know yet and hope an expert can help. That was brought by Jacob.
