http://charliehamiltonjames.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
A blog by wildlife photographer Charlie Hamilton James to provide technical information on weird and wonderful equipment and techniques. Sunday, 10 October 2010. Photographing Kingfishers - where the sun don't shine! Firstly I got myself a Schedule One license for Natural England - this allows me to photograph kingfishers at the nest - It is illegal to do work on kingfishers at the nest without one. The light was nice but the bird wasn't frozen by the flash. Posted by Charlie Hamilton James.

As I was running around getting all the stuff together for the hide - taking things apart to make other things, he asked me 'is there anything you don't take apart? Here's the lates...

Not Your Average Wildlife Watcher: 2010 Year List
http://notyouraveragewildlifewatcher.blogspot.com/p/2010-year-list.html
This page will list my personal Year List for 2010. For those that do not know what a year list is, this is when you list each species of bird you have seen throughout the year. Keep returning to see what I have spotted. I will also try link a photograph if one was taken. 1 Cormorant - 5/01/2011 - Ribble Estuary, Preston. 21 Shoveler - 08/0...

Monday, 13 December 2010. My first born is here and SHE is AMAZING! Yes, myself and Liz have had a baby girl and we are both absolutely over the moon! This is the obvious reason why I have not been out and about since my last post as we were booked in for a C section on December 6th at 7:15am but we did not go down to theatre till around 1pm and believe me the waiting around made Liz and myself even more anxious. Thursday, 17 March 2011. A night on the Newt. After a failed attempt last week at my first experience of a local newt and amphibian count due to the horrendous weather conditions, I was contacted by Mr DM. Monday, 21 February 2011. My wife the comedian bought me a gift! Then out of the blue the other day Liz walked into the living room to say she had bought me a gift.
