Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces Memorial. It is a project that I am hugely excited about. To be given the chance to create a memorial sculpture is an honour and I am extremely grateful to be involved in creating something so special. Pegasus will be based on a thoroughbred but there is huge potential to be very creative with not only the form, but also the modelling. The wings, which will be around 9ft long, will give the sculpture an enormous presence and grace.
