I do not believe i have ever done a crazier thing than commit to running with 11 other ladies in the great race that is Ragnar (don't know what Ragnar is? Check here www.ragnarrelay.com. My journey to this race was pretty lame. no, it. Wasn't lame. i. Oh wait that's totally against the rules. i guess i just can't do it then. what? This One's Mine: April 2011
http://remembering-past-enchantments.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 21, 2011. I asked scout if she needed to go potty on the potty and she hopped up (from having her diaper changed) and ran to the bathroom. she then dragged the stool over and stood on it in front of the toilet. she stood and stood and stood until finally she went.all over the stool and floor. I guess this is what happens when the older child whom she watches and emulates is the opposite gender. Thursday, April 7, 2011. Because cuteness must be preserved. Oh goody, goody! The Dean's at a Glance: March 2014
http://deankids.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
The Dean's at a Glance. Just when you think time moves slow you look at the calendar and see it's already March. Things at The Dean Homestead are plugging along. Everyone is healthy and happy. 3 months of school left. How did that happen? Emalee is going to be a senior next year and has chosen Cosmetology as her career. In saying that there is a program that let's her go to Cosmetology school during her senior year instead of taking senseless elective classes at the school. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Dean's at a Glance: January 2012
http://deankids.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
The Dean's at a Glance. Can you believe that it's already 1/2 way through January already? Christmas went by so quickly. I think we all had a good time. The kids were happy with their gifts and it was nice being with family this year. New Year's we had Emalee's friend Sarah over and we played games until almost midnight. It was one of our best New Year's Eve's :). January has gone well. The kids went back to school and it hasn't snowed yet which I am grateful for. Testing out my new ipad keyboard. Waterm...

This One's Mine: September 2011
http://remembering-past-enchantments.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 17, 2011. Today the girl above (who, in this picture, is wearing her brother's hat) was sad to watch her father and brother leave on an adventure without her. I need you," she said to boy pictured above as she gave him a big hug, "I need my Hayden.". Kind of broke my heart and made it smile all at the same time. How'd I get so lucky to be given charge of these phenomenal kids? PS: This picture is from Hayden's first day of preschool. Handsome kid and he was so excited. With this aweso...

There is no greater good in all the world than motherhood." James E Faust. Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Yay for Good Days! I haven't posted for awhile. I just haven't felt like it to be honest :). Today was a good day. I ran 3 miles on the treadmill without stopping! I have successfully kept the house clean for 4 days now. And I am doing my laundry tomorrow. I think I finally have a system that works for me. I have the laundry sorted (6-7 loads? I hope tomorrow will be good too. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
