Where am I now? Difficult, daunting but also exciting! I’ve been toying with an idea since I was at university, about a world with a sort of parasitic micro-dimension grafted onto it, and the conflict between the humans of the outer world and the not-quite-humans of the otherworld. This is a story I’ve false-started a couple of times, but never managed to get quite right. 2014 will be its year! World building is something that I really, really enjoy. I am unashamedly geeky about details that, in all.

What I did in 2014. It’s 2015, and time for my (apparently) traditional yearly blog post! I finished the last one feeling very positive about my new project (now given the working title ‘The Queen’s Hawks’) and optimistically hoping to have at least a first draft done by the end of 2014.
