Glacier and Banff National Parks. Saturday, August 28 - Monday, September 6th 2010. Saturday, August 28, 2010. Nothing would be nicer after a long day of hiking with sore muscles than a hot tub. So hotels became nicer and nicer and the cost more and more. Ah, well, creature comforts. In retrospect, I'm so glad I didn't camp. Holy miserable in this weather. 1 Sperry Glacier: 2.5 miles from Lake MacDonald. 3 Hidden Lake: 3 miles from Logan Pass. How do you know we're there? How often do the shutles go?

London and Paris Oct 31- November 10, 2009. To Oakland at 2:30am. I was out for all of it. I remember the alarm going off at 5am which was just too early. Somehow the 6 hours went by fast and we ate breakfast and landed. I was ready to keel over and barely made it through passport to get into a bathroom, but we managed to get to our hotel (which is basically a few blocks from my usual Kensgate House off Gloucester Road! Tomorrow, Westminster. my favorite! Monday, November 2, 2009. You gotta see this!

Thursday, June 16 2006. My room at the Tripp Coribici in San Jose. Friday, June 17th. Breakfast at the hotel was a wonderful buffet at which I had a custom omlette with 2 cheeses, tomato, mushrooms and corn along with coffee, OJ and fresh fruit. This was after I caught the luggage guy departing the floor with the OAT luggage but without mine! That would have been a real disaster! Thailand and Cambodia 2008. Thursday, March 27 2008. 1 hour later I was in SFO, checking into China Airlines for my flight. The woman was extremely pleasant and informed me that the flight wasn't full, so I'd likely have a row to myself. Yeah! FOUR hours after a 2 hour layover in Taipei I got into Chiang Mai in Thailand. I was thinking it was going to be a quick, 2 hour flight from Taipei but I was very upset to find out it was FOUR more hours. This 24 hours of travel to get to Asia is not adding...Nobod...
