What is being served? The changes are rung every few days and usually there are three different bitters ready for tasting. The regular is usually Adnams Southwold Bitter or Greene King IPA. What are our opening hours? 12 to 2pm and 6 to 11pm. 12 to 6 pm. When is food being served? You will be able to order food every lunchtime and until 9 pm in the evening every weekday and Saturday. On Sunday food is only served at lunchtime. Always check or book first by ringing or texting. Live event. Check with Jerry or Sharon. On the last Wednesday of the month -. Jerry and Sharon have been in the 'trade' for nearly 40 years between them. Jerry trained at Hintlesham Hall and moved to Langhams in London as a pastry chef. (So expect some good puds.) He has also worked locally at the Black Tiles (Martlesham). He bought his first pub in 1990 (The Halberd in Ipswich) and since then he was the landlord the Fleece at Mandlesham.
