Enjoying every second of life and running. October 10, 2015. 2015 We Care Twin Cities – Kid’s Run, 5K, and 10K. Up next was the 5K. Rob and I ran together and Rob pushed Chase in the stroller. She spent almost 80% of the time asking where one of her friends was that was watching the race. We ran it easy paced, which for me these days is pretty slow, still it felt good to be out running as a family.😀 30:03, 10:01 Pace. Turns out after the race we found out that Rob got 3rd in his Age Group! April 29, 2015.

Enjoying every second of life and running. Lake Run – 12K – 1:04:03. May 2, 2009. Rob and I volunteered for the registration and packet pick up event the night before at our local running store. Here is a picture of us working. Our friend Linda, in red, was getting registered. This race has two distance options, 12K or the 4.37M. April 20, 2014. April 20, 2014. Our trip to the expo yesterday was pretty quick given the kids were not feeling it. It’s big and set up like IKEA with numbered aisles and all kinds of stuff! After picking up a few goodies we dropped off our stuff and headed to Fenway for the Red Sox game. A lot of photos are on my regular camera so there will be much more to post once I am home! Dang it. I can’t believe I forgot my camera cord. Not as fun or cool as Giants fans, but pretty darn cool😉. B2B- A few thoughts.

Atlanta Running Mom: May 2013
http://www.atlantarunningmom.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Run for Life 5k. Well it’s been a few months since my last race, but I’ve been upping my mileage again these past few weeks and was just itching to get back out there again. It was pouring rain when my alarm went off Saturday morning, but I wasn’t going to lose out on my registration fee. It mean it cost a whole $20 y'all. I’d deal with getting a little wet. Geez, these people must use $20’s to wipe when they run out of toilet paper too. That got him moving. Place in my age group.

Atlanta Running Mom: The Baby, the Boston Marathon, and Other Good Things
http://www.atlantarunningmom.com/2014/04/the-baby-boston-marathon-and-other-good.html
Saturday, April 26, 2014. The Baby, the Boston Marathon, and Other Good Things. Hey all, I’ve since upgraded to the double jogging stroller since the last time we met. Jingle Jog 5k in December. We welcomed our sweet little boy, Bryce, via scheduled c-section on 11/12/13. He is the snuggliest, most chilled-out baby ever. His big sister just loves him to pieces too. Within about 3 weeks I was able to walk/run a 5k race with my mom and the kids. I competed in a true 5k race around 7 weeks post-partum.

Sunday, December 2, 2012. Respectable 5K and Thankful Day. When we stayed with our friends Kurt and Krysti for the Soldier Marathon. Naturally we talked a lot about running. Somehow during the conversation, we managed to. Convince them to join us for a Turkey Trot couple weeks later. Always the bridesmaid, I finished 2 overall female by just a hair. 5k's are never cute. After I finished, I looped back to meet up with Krysti, and took over the stroller duties for her so she could really race it in. Mr Blo...
Atlanta Running Mom: Racecation
http://www.atlantarunningmom.com/2011/03/racecation.html
Saturday, March 5, 2011. Ok, I’ll admit I’m starting to feel a little burned-out. I’ve been pushing myself through every workout for the past 6 months with the thoughts of my next race. After the Georgia Half Marathon. In a couple weeks, I’m going to unplug. I won't care about how fast I’m going, what my heart rate is, if I only reached 5.5 miles instead of 6 for the day. Remember when running used to be simple? This is another thing I haven’t done in a few years….a destination race. Oh how I’ve mi...
Atlanta Running Mom: From the Sidelines to the Starting Line
http://www.atlantarunningmom.com/2013/06/from-sidelines-to-starting-line.html
Monday, June 24, 2013. From the Sidelines to the Starting Line. We started off the month of June by heading to San Diego to watch our friends run the SD Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon. Were kind enough to house this whole brood at their house for the weekend. Outside the Race Expo at the San Diego Convention Center. We ate a gluttonous amount of Vietnamese, Korean BBQ, and sushi, and took Emily to see the seals at the Children’s Pool. And dip her toes in the Pacific while we were there. Even though 13.1...
