Badger That ...: January 2007
http://babyduckhat.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 30, 2007. We had a lovely little Deer in our garden wilderness this morning. I have seen her before but have never been able to grab my camera in time. She hung around for near on an hour this morning which was nice. She wondered over to see the chickens and then came right up to the back window. We have decided to call her Daphne as she must live in our garden so therefore we are claiming her as another pet to add to the already huge collection. Posted by Badger at 11:22 AM. Deep in the...

The trouser Press: May 2012
http://thetrouserpress.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
View my complete profile. Thursday, 3 May 2012. Today is one of those rare days in which I do something which makes me feel like a proper grown-up. I went to the local polling booth and voted in the local elections. I'm well aware of the difference between local elections and the general election, yet it's hard not to want to vote according to my view of the political situation nationally. So I looked at the ballot paper. Don't make me laugh. So, for the first time in my life, I spoiled the ballot paper&...

Random Kahless: Hong Kong
http://kahlessnoise.blogspot.com/2014/03/hong-kong.html
Note to Spammers - Piss off. Sunday, 23 March 2014. I was in HK last week on business. I was humbled by how hospitital my colleagues from HK are. I was taken out to lunch every day (Dim Sum) and I have come home somewhat heavier, though I daren't get on the scales. Three things I learn't last week:. 1 Chinese do actually make very good desserts - especially sponges. 2 You don't see the number 4 (e.g. hotels don't have a fourth, fourteen etc floor). 15 April 2014 at 02:38. A rambling dirt road full of twists and beauty and a place where it is possible to hear yourself think. Monday, November 28, 2011. 7ism and a bit. Painting done near the river in Cape York where Edmund Kennedy lost his life during his ill-fated expedition to Cape York 1848. Some of his papers were recovered and the botanist (William CARRON (1821-1876) wrote an account of their journey, which can be found here. He is a fine fellow, he will either accomplish his object, or leave his bones in the bush!
