Sunday, August 24, 2014. It's never a good thing when your pediatrician writes in your child's chart "HUGE tonsils". Yep I saw it several times with my own eyes. After several notes of "HUGE tonsils" we decided it was best to have NO tonsils. And while the surgeon was removing parts, he wanted to re-remove AnniePearl's adenoids. The prior surgeon did not get all of her adenoids so they grew back. Did you know that adenoids can grow back? You just never know what you are going to learn from this blog.

We get to spend every Saturday catching up with other families and making new friends each. The beginning of home meets are extra special because all the Georgetown kids get to shout out the Dillo Chant to get pumped up. The 6&U boys are especially cute, and I'm not saying that because my kid is one of them. Tailgating on a Saturday morning has taken on a whole new meaning.

I passed on the opportunity to head down to Port A so I could tackle a few "Pinterest" projects. Before I could start any of that I needed to find a way to keep the kids occupied. So we began with a trip to Waco to check out the Dr. Pepper Museum. This is not a kid-friendly place. Nor did I find the history of Dr. Pepper the slightest bit intriguing. Our Country Club has a lot of different activities all summer long, our favorite is the Dive In Movies. I recently started playing tennis and Drew has expressed a lot of interest as well. So he enrolled him in tennis camp and he is having a blast! We love hanging out at the pool. He even likes to wear his "swim underwear" instead of jammers.
