Chasing mr. alligator. The interesting and not so interesting events that compose our lives:). Thursday, February 4, 2010. This year Madeline and I decided to make her Valentines for her school party. We cut hearts from card stock and glued them together. Next we made glitter decorations and she signed her name to each one. Tomorrow after they finish drying we will punch holes and slide pencils through. It was fun to work together.even though I was trying not to get the glitter everywhere! So much fun :).

Friday evening, we loaded up the truck with our lawn chairs and headed to the first home game of the season at Maddie's school. Our boys didn't win but it was a gorgeous night and so much fun! Here are some pictures of Maddie Appleseed before she went to school! I used scrap fabric from my "stash" to make the vest and the seed bag. My and girl and me!

That all sorts of things are going on around here. We've had Father's Day. We've setteled into the house a little more. We've played around a little. School for Madeline is going well. Work for Will is moving along. Work for me is well.work! Lately though, things around here have been a little rough. I just haven't felt well at all. Just the two of us!

Friday, August 12, 2011. We spent a gorgeous weekend in Chicago with some b-school friends to celebrate Paula's birthday and get prepared for Paula and Ankur's wedding festivities. Ankur took us all up to Little India where they outfit us in kurtas and sold me more gold bangles than any person could ever wear in a lifetime! Brunch at Birchwood. We have now been there twice as a group. Does that count as tradition? Trying on clothes in Little India. Chicago skyline from the rooftop - I miss this city!
