Thursday, April 28, 2011. Yes - guinea pig! This one was done in the classic way "al horno" - in a wood burning oven. Tasty, if not a bit bony. I'm sure he was a cute little critter pre-oven. Thursday, August 18, 2011. We recently went to Wayfare Tavern and had a delicious meal there, which included their famous popovers. I've made them from Wayfare's recipe before and now that I had the chance to compare to the real thing, the homemade versions might even be better! It's a failsafe recipe that always produces an impressive rise. I even concocted a honey butter to slather on the hot out of the oven popovers which made them that much more delectable.
