We have really enjoyed our stay in Quarryman's cottage. The proximity of the pub and restaurant are a real plus. We made good use of the Camel Trail and all local facilities and would certainly like to return to repeat the experience. Simply marvelous - a superb place to celebrate your 30th birthday! Another superb week. By our standards they offer us so much comfort and pleasure and S, S S! We look forward to next year with relish. We have had a lovely week. Cottage super - enjoyed every minute.

It is possible to walk, of course. Turn left at the entrance to the side car park and enjoy the hedgerows full of wild flowers on the walk downhill. Or take the car down to the estuary to avoid the walk back - uphill! At Padstow you can use a ferry to cross to Rock and walk over the dunes to the picturesque little church where John Betjeman is buried, play golf or else enjoy the spectacular rugged scenery and clean, safe beaches while skylarks soar overhead.

Leave the M5 motorway at Junction 31 (Exeter). You can stay on the A30 all the way to Bodmin and then take the road for Wadebridge. However, after about 30-40 minutes on the A30 you will see a sign for North Cornwall and we usually take this turning at Kennards Cross and follow the signs for Camelford and Wadebridge. Whichever way you choose, do not go into Wadebridge but, at the large roundabout, take the road for Newquay. Why not consider a holiday in the South of France?

With cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and a range of electrical equipment (including an iron and ironing board), quality crockery, glassware, cutlery, utensils and tableware. In No 1 there is a three-seater bed-settee to offer more flexibility with sleeping arrangements. In No. 20 there is a large settee. Both have two matching armchairs, with colour television, video and stereo hi-fi unit. One bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Paying For Your Holiday. A 10% deposit is required within the week of the provisional booking having been made. The balance of the amount due must be received six weeks prior to the date of the holiday (later in exceptional circumstances).
