Ni Hao From China: April 2009
http://morganfamilysadventuresinchina.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 13, 2009. The scenery was inspiring. Terraced rice paddies, small villages with houses clustered around irrigation ponds, people out working in the fields, lots of lush greenery. Even where we stopped for a break, we were able to take pictures of the fresh water oyster nets in the winding river. I’m sure most of my pictures are blurry as we were traveling at quite a speed. More about our stay in Shaoyang on the next post! Guess how much he practiced? 1 to 2 hours every day! This park had a ...

Friday, April 3, 2009. Altogether over 7,000 soldiers, horses, chariots and weapons have been unearthed and returned to their former grandeur. I’ll try to remember to tell you the answer at the end so keep reading. Once we were through all three pits, we went into another building where the chariots were on display. One is called the air conditioning chariot. It had ...Last ...

http://morganfamilysadventuresinchina.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 30, 2009. Last day in Beijing. On the other side, we walked to the parking lot. There were lots of stops to enjoy the blossoms along the way. So as you can see, we didn’t get to fully enjoy the Summer Palace but a quick lake front walk. Rather disappointing for both R and I. Back on the bus and off to the Olympic area of Beijing. Saturday, March 28, 2009. Back on the bus (I don’t want to ride another tour bus for a long time after this trip) to head to the cloisonné restaurant (yup, b...
