Ha pasado casi un mes desde que Chespirito visitara Chile, en su gira de despedida de los escenarios con su obra "11 y 12", pero todavía queda todo el revuelo mediático que causó su llegada a nuestro país. Al final de "11 y 12" muy poco se habló excepto algunas opiniones divergentes. Posteriormente el Chavo volvería a Chile en 1979, ya sin Quico ni Don Ramón, para presentarse en el Teatro Caupolicán, en una funcion no tan pública ni de tanta convocatoria como la de dos años atrás. El Regreso de Don Ramón. Ramón Valdés abandonó la serie en 1979, sin embargo en 1981 vuelve a formar parte del elenco del programa "Chespirito" donde graba algunos capítulos, principalmente del Chavo, a fines de ese mismo año abandona definitivamente el elenco.
