Wednesday, November 30, 2005. I learnt something new at work today. I was teaching my Further Maths student about Differential Equations, and one of the functions I had to deal with was "sec x". Wednesday, June 28, 2006. Black poodle, or possibly chihuahua. I'm not down enough to merit a full black dog alert, but there's something sniffing round at the moment. Maybe it's because I'm stupidly busy at work, maybe it's because I'm worried about moving house and job, and whether I'm doing the right thing, but I'm starting to slip into odd sleeping and eating patterns again, which is usually a bad sign. Monday, January 30, 2006. I'd love to write an interesting blog about my weekend, with a detailed explanation of why I didn't attend the Meet, but unfortunately I seem to be suffering from some horrid illness. I even managed to take my first ever time off work sick today, and it looks likely that tomorrow will be spent sleeping, drinking juice, taking paracetamol, and sleeping. Wednesday, May 24, 2006. I actually found five minutes of spare time to blog the other night, but Blogger was being sucky and wouldn't upload my picture, so I had to abandon that plan. Thursday, March 30, 2006. I don’t normally go in for memes, but I quite fancied doing this which I’ve pinched from Chris’s LiveJournal. Step 1: Put your MP3 player or whatever on random. Step 2: Post the first line from the first 20 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song. Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from. Step 4: Strike out the songs when someone guesses correctly. Step 5: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!
