I totally "get" why some women want to spell it womyn (singular) and wymyn (plural). But the feminism at Barnard, where I coined the term linked to above, is just so in-your-face, and so much of it is just . . . unecessary and annoying. For instance, my post this morning was the song, Feelin' Groovy. I had it on Word, perfectly laid out, line by line, with spaces for paragraph, etc. The Header was colorful.(it was groovy - really) but when I posted, it all came out in run together sentences.
