The Perry's Australian Adventure. Wednesday, January 23, 2008. Current Outings . . . It continues to rain off and on here in Brisbane but the weather also remains hot and humid. Everyone says that we are lucky this year because the summer has been pretty cool for a change. All we can think about is that our family and friends back home are experiencing cold, cold, cold weather and we are getting sunburns and wearing shorts daily! Here is a common sign you'll see around rainforest regions. This sign is a ...

The Perry's Australian Adventure: October 2007
http://perryaustralia.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
The Perry's Australian Adventure. Tuesday, October 16, 2007. Evan came to the hospital today to meet his new baby brother. He seemed amazed (just as we all are) with how tiny Kaden's toes, nose, and feet are. He likes to touch his hair and say "soft, soft, soft" over and over again. We have also been reading a book about being gentle so he tries really hard to be gentle with Kaden. Posted by The Perry Family. Kaden Patrick Perry arrives. Posted by The Perry Family. Sunday, October 7, 2007. 2) Many of you...

The Perry's Australian Adventure: Stradbroke Island
http://perryaustralia.blogspot.com/2008/06/stradbroke-island.html
The Perry's Australian Adventure. Monday, June 2, 2008. We spent some of the weekend hiking and 4-wheel driving on the island. Our friends brought their 4-wheel drive vehicle so we all piled in and drove several of the beautiful beaches on the island. This is a very unique and fun experience, but kind of just felt like driving on snow, without the cold, in America. We also went "back-roadin'" on the island to see the sights. The Perry's Australian Adventure. Wednesday, December 26, 2007. The Holiday continued . . . On our third day in Cairns we rode a large boat, The Big Cat, out to Green Island to spend the day snorkeling off the coast and out on the Great Barrier Reef. We enjoyed yet another new town and adventure but the day was actually so windy that we didn't get to see alot of kites up in the air. Can you believe that? Too windy to fly a kite! This past weekend Bryan and I were also able to have our first date night since moving to Australia (can you believe that! Well, it will also be our last date night while in Australia! We soon...
