Atomic Trousers: Time For a New Jersey
http://atomictrousers.blogspot.com/2008/08/time-for-new-jersey.html
Mockery is the Sincerest Form of Ridicule". My Proudest Parenting Moment. Brewin Up a Common Goal. Harry Was Very Excited. White People at Work: The Restaurant Office. Why Do the Brewers Hate Me? You Heard it Here First. Madison Welcomes the 2010 Transplant Games. Time For a New Jersey. All the other guys are too young and inexperienced to warrant a jersey purchase. Ryan Grant? You'd be better off waiting a couple years and buying a Brohm jersey. The one guy that kind of falls right in the middle is Greg...

Atomic Trousers: March 2007
http://atomictrousers.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Mockery is the Sincerest Form of Ridicule". Mar 27, 2007. I figured since I'm watching American Idol tonight, I might as well live blog it. Following the show, I plan on drowning myself by immersing my head in mayonnaise. Lakisha starts by singing a Donna Summer song, while hiding a roast beef sandwich in her cleavage. In the meantime, her high heels file a lawsuit against her for violating the Geneva Convention on torture. Bad I actually didn't hear any of what he sang, as I was crying my eyes out.

Little Miss Sunshine: Arizona Gun Power
http://litlmissunshine.blogspot.com/2011/04/arizona-gun-power.html
Friday, April 8, 2011. Guns on Arizona campuses have been OK'd. By their legislature. I say BRAVO. What I don't understand is this argument:. State Rep. Bob Robson said guns on campuses are a bad idea because students and others experience such emotional highs and lows due to grades, exams and other circumstances. To make it that you could walk up to the door of an education institution (with a gun) makes no sense to me," he said. We cannot be bullied by students who are emotionally unstable over grades ...

September 15, 2014. This weekend, for my birthday, I went to NYC alone. No kids, and no husband because he was watching the kids. There were a lot of wonderful things about the trip that I'll try to remember to post later (though, let's be honest, my track record is poor at best), but one thing in particular happened that was terrifying. Adventures in Kicking People: Garden 2014 - Post 01
http://sleepgoblin.blogspot.com/2014/04/garden-2014-post-01.html
April 23, 2014. Garden 2014 - Post 01. In pursuit of that goal, I spent quite a lot of time last week researching raised beds, where to find good dirt that will deliver, and sorting out which vegetables to grow and how to arrange them. I had a very elaborate plan made within two days, thanks in large part to the site Smart Gardener. The start of one of the new garden beds. Today was a bit chillier than the last few days, but here are some of the things we've been up to with the boys. You're all caught up!

Adventures in Kicking People: Out of the House!
http://sleepgoblin.blogspot.com/2014/04/out-of-house.html
April 16, 2014. Out of the House! We've been struggling with Monkey wanting to climb every single thing in the house. Some things I don't mind. The couch? Go for it buddy. Climbing to the top of the couch and then using it as a boost to climb on top of the window sill? PLEASE DON'T DO THAT! A dangerous game of hide and seek. Not to mention all of his "snowboarding" friends were there. Such a nice reunion. Honorary cousins of the boys! Checking out an ostrich from the stroller. Smaller than an ant! Now th...

Adventures in Kicking People: February 2014
http://sleepgoblin.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
February 19, 2014. Things have been difficult around here. A slow build up of one thing after another, with no breaks, no relief. Yesterday things came to a head and I just broke down. I spent some time sobbing on my kitchen floor while the kids napped. That uncontrolled kind where the sounds coming out of you aren't even really human. Not my best moment. Do you know until a few weeks ago I'd never been separated for more than 3 hours from my kids? Posted by Sleep Goblin. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Adventures in Kicking People: July 2013
http://sleepgoblin.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
July 16, 2013. Beta Reading and a Challenge. I have two friends that are writing novels. They're both pretty good as far as I'm concerned. I've had a little time off and on over the past. year? So I'm talking to one of these friends tonight about this topic; writing something that makes you uncomfortable. She mentioned how the word "folds" in relation to. relations, made her squeamish. "Please don't make me use the word "folds" in that manner." I decided to do it for her. Posted by Sleep Goblin. Things y...
