Life As Crunchy Veggies: October 2011
http://crunchyveggies.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Life As Crunchy Veggies. Wednesday, October 19, 2011. I know it's been over 3 weeks since the baby was born. Life has been hectic and I think the babe may have reflux, so please forgive me. I've decided to call the newbie "Buddy" here on the blog, since that's what the kids call him most of the time here at home. :). I'm very glad now that we didn't try any aggressive natural induction tactics and just let him choose his own birthday. I looked at Brent after the 3rd one and said, "I can't handle this!

Life As Crunchy Veggies: April 2011
http://crunchyveggies.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Life As Crunchy Veggies. Sunday, April 24, 2011. What I Believe About Food (Post Edit at Bottom). I have put off writing these posts for over a year now, because I wanted to wait until we "had it down" and were doing everything right. I've recently realized that may never happen. I still have goals, but I also know Brent and myself and we have always had ups and downs and we probably always will. This will most likely be our life-long struggle. We came out to UT for a family reunion the next summer and h...

FarrSouth: We can rebuild him...better...stronger...faster?
http://farrsouth.blogspot.com/2010/05/we-can-rebuild-himbetterstrongerfaster.html
Thursday, May 27, 2010. We can rebuild him.better.stronger.faster? That reference may have meant nothing to anyone younger than me (. See here to get it. But Matthew's x-ray totally made me think of Steve Austin (NOT the wrestler/ actor- follow the link above if you are confused). For those who can't tell from the picture, Matthew's now sporting an assortment of 3 plates and 9 screws in his left leg. And while I know it won't cost us anywhere near Six Million Dollars, it isn't going to be cheap. Sheesh&#...

http://crunchyveggies.blogspot.com/2012/07/9-months.html
Life As Crunchy Veggies. Monday, July 2, 2012. I'm back. Hopefully. I can't promise daily posts, but I really want to get better again about keeping a journal of our lives. That is one thing that he does NOT lack.people that love him. And he is such a joy. He brings a lot of happiness into our family. He is my best cuddler, by far. He'll just nestle right into my chest and it makes my whole body tingle with love. I'm a naturally protective mother (aren't we all? I can't believe my baby's almost 1!

Saturday, March 28, 2009. Just start it already! Drew said I was over-thinking all this and just need to start. So with that word of wisdom from my oldest child to inspire me, here goes. . . I was watching a. She may not have had it exactly right, but her reaction. Showed she understood the spirit of what I'd been trying to teach: be nice (. And killing isn't nice, is it. Life As Crunchy Veggies: January 2013
http://crunchyveggies.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Life As Crunchy Veggies. Monday, January 28, 2013. Buddy, Body Image, and Life. I feel like I should give you another update. Buddy is now 16 months old. He is doing so much better than a few months ago, it is amazing. He is HAPPY. And he is happy MORE than he is sad. I wasn't sure if we'd ever get to this place. He is so darling when he's happy! Going through pictures, I realized we take a LOT of pics of Buddy in his highchair. He really is quite funny at meal times. He's happy when he eats. Buddy has r...

FarrSouth: Life is beautiful...
http://farrsouth.blogspot.com/2010/10/life-is-beautiful.html
Sunday, October 3, 2010. I LOVE GENERAL CONFERENCE! I know that's not a new idea I'm sharing, but I have to say it again. Listening to President Monson conclude this morning's session with a reminder of the importance of not just feeling. Gratitude, but expressing it was probably why I decided to jump on here between sessions. I need to say how grateful I am. For the wonderful things in my life. Reminding me always of how much I have to be grateful for and what's truly important. I couldnt agree more!

Life As Crunchy Veggies. Thursday, September 22, 2011. Due Dates and Expectations. Just as a warning, this post is more for my benefit than anyone else's. It's kind of a brain-dump that I've been needing to get out. Too bad I'm not sharing the pics. They're still on the camera and I don't feel like dumping them onto the computer today. :P. I am SOOO excited to meet this baby! I feel such a connection to him/her already. I have such an overwhelming love for him/her already. It amazes me sometimes&...Like ...

Life As Crunchy Veggies: Vaccines
http://crunchyveggies.blogspot.com/2012/09/vaccines.html
Life As Crunchy Veggies. Tuesday, September 18, 2012. This is another one of those "different" posts. I thought it timely to discuss this since we currently have Pertussis (Whopping Cough) in our house. I will start by giving a bit of background. I had my first 2 kids vaccinated almost fully. Tink was vaccinated fully (but delayed) up until the age of 2. Lady has received 2 vaccines in her life, June has received 1, and Buddy has received none. While we were at the office, the nurse was quite nice to us ...
