Cheddar Angling Club Tickets. Are priced at £6 per day per adult and £3 for concessions. Season tickets are also available with the season running from 16th June each year. Priced £45 for adults and £20 for concessions. A valid rod license is also required to fish the reservoir. Tickets are not available from the bank but are available from;. Fishing times are from dawn - dusk. As long as its light you can fish. The water is open all year. No fishing from the vicinity of the yacht club round to the cheddar tower (the short way). See rules. Disabled Angles - Unfortunately due to the nature of the concrete stepped banks, styles and gate access. This means the site is not disabled friendly. Nearest Public Toilets - Meadow Street, Axbridge and Station Road, Cheddar. Accommodation - B& Bs in Axbridge Cheddar, Camping/Tourers in Cheddar.

Some of the water from the reservoir is pumped to Bristol for treatment at the Barrow Treatment works with the rest being treated at the Cheddar works to supply the surrounding area. Each year the club holds several pike matches for roughly 20 people. The Entry cost is around £20 each with prizes for biggest fish, 1st 2nd and 3rd places. Details will be available nearer the time.
