Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Ship Quits Seas After 69 Years. That's the headline from a 1958 edition of the Tonawanda News that I came across while researching information about the ship Eva S. Cullison. The Eva S. Cullison. Was a schooner owned by my great great grandfather John Aaron Jackson. He used her to harvest oysters from the Chesapeake Bay. The article I found reads:. My great great grandfather owned the Eva S. Cullison. Labels: Eva S. Cullison. Tuesday, January 13, 2015. I asked the 8 year old.

Tangled Gardens: The Kitchen Garden (Le Jardin Potager)
http://tangledgardens.blogspot.com/2012/03/kitchen-garden-le-jardin-potager.html
Thursday, March 8, 2012. The Kitchen Garden (Le Jardin Potager). Unfortunately, I am one of those who thinks that the basic vegetable garden is not a thing of beauty. It is simply a vegetable garden, laid out in the typical rows that are more common than not. Good Luck creating your own potager! I think you will find it fun and greatly rewarding. Tangled Gardens: TOO BUSY!!
http://tangledgardens.blogspot.com/2012/08/too-busy.html
Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Cottage gardening can be very high maintenance if you are trying to achieve the wild yet tamed look. I have been so very busy with garden management in addition to "life" that I have seriously neglected my blog. I haven't even taken many pictures, blah! My baby trees (see earlier blog) require 6-7 hours of watering per week not including weeding and mole management. (soaker hose is not an option, I would need about 200 of them! Tangled Gardens: AUTUMN BEAUTY
http://tangledgardens.blogspot.com/2012/11/autumn-beauty.html
Monday, November 19, 2012. Autumn did not disappoint this year. October brought us a lot of rain but it seemed to happen all at once and the rest of the days were bright and beautiful. This weekend seems to be the beginning of the end to our long autumn. Appropriate considering the holidays are right around the corner. As I was raking this past week I took a moment to savor my surroundings before mother nature changes things. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Take a peek through the garden gate.

http://deltavillevignettes.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2014. Shots from the water. So during my last trip to Aaron's Beach,. I spent most of the time floating around in the water. I enjoy having my feet firmly on the ground,. Or at least knowing I can put my feet firmly on the ground. Big E tends to go out as far as he can,. Even if he can't touch the bottom. That's him in the above photo where the arrow is). So he tries to take me out in the deep. With all those sharks and things in the water. 1 I have a waterproof camera and. L-r: Kim (...
