My most enjoyable language learning is English class with ALT when I was junior high scool . He came from New Zealand . He talked about his country . It was very fun . My lerast enjoyable language learning activity was entrance examination for the university . this was very hard for me . My most valueble language learning activity is "English speeking class " at Iwate University .I experienced native speeking . I was impressed by the class . ETMⅢ blog links.

Today we learned about two approaches for teaching vocabulary: the Teach and Learn Approach and the Learning through Input Approach. You can see a PowerPoint presentation of the approaches here. I would like to tell you about the strengths and weaknesses of each approach as well as the approach I would use as a Junior High School English teacher. I think this is easy to acquire a new vocabulary and to understand how to use the word in a sentense for students but this simple and fixed task bore students .

Today, I am going to review two of the "typical Japanese junior high school"communicative activities presented in ETM 3. The activities I am going to review are ' Using movement' and ' Interview' . You can view them here. I thought I can improve ' Using movement' . I think this activity is more interesting if students do this game with many people like jesture game than do this only he and his partner . I think it improves student's English comunication skill . I did a micro teaching with Kanako . We did Pre-reading and In-reading activities in the micro teaching . The object of the micro teaching is to understand difference of how to order in a restaurant between Japan and US . Weak point and strong point-. We used a jesture , it heped understanding difference . We did "T or F "to check that students could understand the content . I spoke KANCHIGAI story to show the difference of culture for students . We should have made communication between students .
