Reasons to be cheerful. Almost never about hoovering. Thursday, August 06, 2009. Oh dear, I have been quite rubbish. Here is a nice picture of a horse. On the borders of Thamesmead. I mean, where else would you go to see a horse, by the side of a main road, eating grass? Thamesmead is the obvious choice. I keep eyeing up more flower bed as growing vegetables turns out to be even more exciting than growing flowers, and I am already making plans for what's going where next year. I am middle aged, aren't I.

Reasons to be cheerful. Almost never about hoovering. Wednesday, March 28, 2007. I am busy wearing grooves into my fingers with a newly acquired ukulele. One of the many excellent things about this instrument is that it is possible to play it (I use the term loosely) whilst lying on the sofa, a position of which I am very fond. Thursday, 1 May 2008. Letters to the headteacher: tired and emotional. I am writing to you to request a couple of days off for the important purposes of rest and relaxation. I have recently spent several long days teaching and as a result I am feeling both tired and emotional. Bow down to the lion headed, cabbage shaped, bushy, pedal filled flowers. They come in such a wide variety of colors and are in all the garden centers for cheap right now. Go forth and enjoy this delicious flower for a few weeks. I was experimenting with my little point and shoot for a very dramatic shot. Return of the Baker.
