Heckle & Snide: Happy B'Day, Beyoncé
http://heckleandsnide.blogspot.com/2009/09/happy-bday-beyonce.html
September 4, 2009. Happy B'Day, Beyoncé. This fledgling new blog debuted in June with a photographic tribute to one of the greatest actors of the modern era as the incomparable Meryl Streep. Entered her seventh decade (may fortune bless us with many more! In the midst of elaborate preparation on the ambitious project with which I will fully launch this new experimental addition to the blogosphere. Birthday, to the pop music behemoth today known simply as. Thou Shall Say Mah. And they pockets full grown),...

Heckle & Snide: Official "Amy Adams for Oscar (Someday)" Campaign Kickoff!
http://heckleandsnide.blogspot.com/2009/09/official-amy-adams-for-oscar-someday.html
September 25, 2009. Official "Amy Adams for Oscar (Someday)" Campaign Kickoff! Doesn't actually select the acting and picture nominees (more on that another time). And then it will be time for Hollywood's big annual bash: a night of tedious musical numbers, famously extravagant costumes, Meryl Streep losing yet again, and lots and lots and lots of champagne (read: vodka and cocaine). A film The New Yorker. But hey, at least Streep has a pair of Oscars on her mantle at all. It could be worse.(How? Who has...

Heckle & Snide: October 2009
http://heckleandsnide.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
October 4, 2009. Once Again, Britney Saves the Day. I'm not much on what I believe people like my sister call "memes," but every once in a while I run across one that seems moderately interesting (to me as well as potentially to others) and worth some of my oh-so-precious-and-scarce time *SARCASM DETECTOR MALFUNCTION*. And really, who among us can really say he or she didn't end up caving in for the "25 Things" flash in the pan a few months back on Facebook? 2 Describe yourself: Lucky. I Did It Again.

Heckle & Snide: June 2009
http://heckleandsnide.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
June 22, 2009. Hey Meryl Welcome to Your 60s! We counted The Hours until STREEP's big day! That IS good, isn't it? I don't Doubt we'll have a blast tonight celebrating STREEP. I would come Out of Africa to celebrate STREEP. It is a Prime night to celebrate STREEP. I'd sell my soul to Isabella Rosellini to look good for STREEP. It would be an Unfortunate Event if we missed celebrating the anniversary of the birth of STREEP. I'd become a lesbian in a strange 1980s Woody Allen movie for STREEP. And now, exh...

Heckle & Snide: Eden Espinosa: Moving On
http://heckleandsnide.blogspot.com/2009/07/eden-espinosa-moving-on.html
July 26, 2009. Eden Espinosa: Moving On. Eden Espinosa is one of those rare artists I've admired and (somewhat) followed for so long that it's easy for me to forget that I've never actually seen her perform. Not that she isn't in good company; I remember realizing about ten minutes into Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Stage (Side note for Ms. Espinosa: When one is blessed as you are with an unduplicated mastery of Wicked. Also well handled was the inclusion of Grammy winner Paula Cole, after whose song Ms. Espin...
