Kat's Out and About: March 2013
http://katsoutandabout.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Kat's Out and About. Saturday, March 16, 2013. As always we get there moments after the doors open and for once there wasn't a giant line waiting for us. We walked right in, turned left and started in the vendors, because why not! The three of us are always notorious for spending way too much at these events, but we are always very happy with our purchases. One booth in particular we always stop at, Nature's Creations. Labels: Boston Flower Show. Location: World Trade Center (WTC), Boston, MA 02210, USA.

Kat's Out and About: Drinking & Painting at the Flower Show
http://katsoutandabout.blogspot.com/2013/03/drinking-painting-at-flower-show.html
Kat's Out and About. Friday, March 15, 2013. Drinking and Painting at the Flower Show. This week I managed to win tickets to the Boston Flower and Garden Show. On Mix 104.1. Not only did I get a pair of tickets to the Flower Show I also won the chance to go to a Painting Class courtesy of The Urban Art Bar. Now I didn't have an idea what I was getting into, but I must say the whole experience was quite fun even though I was by myself. They gave us wine samples from The Naked Grape. The Urban Art Bar.

Wednesday, March 26, 2014. So a few weeks ago I wanted to make classic Italian lasagna and as you do I went to the store and bought all the ingredients. And when I was in the pasta aisle looking for lasagna noodles (I thought of making it from scratch but laziness overwhelmed me! Other than the chicken the rest of the lasagna is a breeze to make. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did! 2 large Chicken Breasts, shredded. 3 cans black beans, drained. 1 large can crushed tomatoes (28oz). In a large casserole d...

Kat's Divine Comedy: June 2010
http://katsdivinecomedy.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 10, 2010. Mango BBQ Pulled Pork. 1 c brown sugar. 1 Tbsp garlic powder. 1 Tbsp dry mustard. 1 Tbsp chili powder. 1 5-7lb Boston Butt or Picnic Shoulder. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes before touching it. Then you can use two forks to "pull" the pork apart. Then you can set it aside if you don't need to eat it right away or add the BBQ sauce which follows and enjoy. 1 c cider vinegar. 2 mangos, peeled and cut up (might be able to use frozen mangos that have been thawed). Chef on a Diet.

Kat's Divine Comedy: October 2010
http://katsdivinecomedy.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Pumpkin Apple BBQ Sauce. 1c Apple Cider Vinegar. 1 Red Onion, diced. 3 Tbsp Garlic, minced. 1 Orange, juiced. 1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard. 10 shakes Frank's Red Hot. Put everything into a food processor and blend until smooth. You can use a blender as well, but I prefer the food processor. Once smooth put it into a sauce pan and simmer for at least 30 minutes. Use this BBQ sauce on anything you like, but it was really good on the pulled pork. Links to this post. 1/2 c brown sugar.

Kat's Divine Comedy: Whole Wheat Pizza Dough
http://katsdivinecomedy.blogspot.com/2013/03/whole-wheat-pizza-dough.html
Friday, March 1, 2013. Whole Wheat Pizza Dough. So if you're like me you love pizza and get a craving for pizza at least every other week, and also like me you probably are dirt poor and can't afford to actually order pizza. So what to do? Make pizza with ingredients you already have! So really you only have to buy some cheese which I bought the good stuff enough for two really big pizzas for $6 today (can't beat fresh mozzarella! You may ask, "But Kat, what about other toppings! So this Whole Wheat Pizz...

Kat's Divine Comedy: February 2010
http://katsdivinecomedy.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 6, 2010. Oh look I still have a blog! Getting ready for the Super Bowl and one of the things I decided to do was make Hummus for the vegetarian crowd coming to our party. I believe Hummus is usually gluten free anyway but my recipe I made for the party exceeded my expectations in taste, and it's so simple to make! 1/4 c Tahini (sometimes called seseme tahini paste). 1 lemon - juiced. 1 T ground cumin. 2 garlic cloves minced (or more to taste). 15 cans of chickpeas drained. 4 T olive oil.
