May Family: December 2013
http://nealtime.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 12, 2013. Every year the boys get to pick out an ornament. I just love seeing what they pick based on the year's interests or even just what they did that same day. Garett's pick- the duckbill platypus from Phineas and Ferb. Because that is what he watched that day. Afro Bird- because we had a coupon for a free ornament and the bird has an afro so how could we NOT buy it? Adam and Ryan both picked out a peacock ornament. Garett showing off his new ornament. Turkey, Turkey, Turkey.

May Family: Where We Went (Minuteman Missile)
http://nealtime.blogspot.com/2015/03/where-we-went-minuteman-missile.html
Sunday, March 29, 2015. Where We Went (Minuteman Missile). We had a ton of fun in the Black Hills, but we needed to start heading home. The boys had completed their Jr. Ranger badges for the Badlands, but we were too late to turn it in before so we had to head back on the way home. Minuteman Missile is right at the entrance to the Badlands so we just had to stop. The boys weren't too happy that we had been too late to do the Devil's Tower Jr. Ranger badge so we thought we could do this one instead. Fun w...

Sunday, March 29, 2015. Where We Went (Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center). That's one big dog! His name is Seaman. Hanging out with the sick guy- the only guy to die on the trip out west. Medical supplies. That big silver thing is for enemas. Creepy robots- one of them you couldn't hear what he was saying but he still moved. The weather was nice so we ate lunch and the kids played on the playground. Then we headed home. It was a really fun trip and we were able to see and do a ton of stuff! While getti...

May Family: Where We Went (Wind Cave & Custer State Park)
http://nealtime.blogspot.com/2015/03/where-we-went-wind-cave-custer-state.html
Sunday, March 29, 2015. Where We Went (Wind Cave and Custer State Park). Spring Break part 4. For today's journey we headed to Wind Cave National Park. We did a cave tour- it is a pretty unique cave. There are no stalagmites or stalactites but what is called "box work" and "popcorn". And it is fairly long. The "entrance" to the cave- it breathes sometime the air comes in and sometimes the air blows out. Some crystals- Adam had a fun time with his flashlight trying to find them. Labels: custer state park.

Sunday, November 23, 2014. Well, this guy decided to turn 8 years old yesterday! I don't know why they insist on getting older when I very firmly declare they just can't. I totally feel time slipping through my fingers! Ryan wanted a Lego party so that is what he got. He invited a couple friends over and they all had a blast playing. Pinning the pants on "Honey, Where are my pants? From the Lego movie. Throwing legos in buckets, 5 pt. 10 pt. and 15 pts. Passing the "kragle" before Lord Business gets it.

Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Monday was the ultrasound to see the baby. Adam and Ryan came with us to see- they are so excited for the baby! Garett, well Garett could care less so he went to a sitters'. Here are some of the pictures:. Giving us a "thumbs up"! Just sucking on a hand. Sorry if you don't like nudity). So we will yet again be having a boy! He wasn't real cooperative for the pictures but it is so much fun to watch the ultrasound! Like last year when the kids got up at 2am). One neighbor lost t...

Thursday, May 8, 2014. My little man decided to turn 4 on the 6th. We really didn't have time to throw him a party and since he is 4 I don't think he even noticed. We let him open presents in the morning before school (which means he woke up nice and early) and we all got a yummy donut and chocolate milk birthday breakfast. Waiting, waiting, waiting. He loves this certificate so much he carries it around to show everyone everywhere he goes. He is soooooo excited! What are you making me do? Garett had a g...

Sunday, March 29, 2015. Where We Went (Mt. Rushmore, Lake Sylvan, Devil's Tower). Spring Break part 3. Once we made it to Rapid City we were a lot closer to a bunch of other fun stuff in the Black Hills and surrounding area. Another "must see" I've been dying to go to was Mt. Rushmore:. Thank you Mr. Jefferson for inventing ice cream! The boys favorite part of the visitor's center was the explosion simulator! And they just had to earn another Jr. Ranger badge! They've added a 5th head! My Dearest and Best.
