On February 17th 2011 I embarked on a journey around the world. Starting in Melbourne, Australia the goal is to touch all 7 continents over the course of 2 years and experience as many new wonders as possible. So, here goes. Thursday, August 25, 2011. Walking the Camino de Santiago. When my friend suggested I walk 100kms of the Camino de Santiago on my way to Portugal I was instantly intrigued. Although I knew of the Camino I can't say I had ever given it much thought or actually considered doing it.
