Monday, December 1, 2014. Cole's Black and White Nursery. I am finally about finished with Cole's Nursery. I am so pleased with how it turned out. It's become a mixture of Lee and I both. Since the day I found out I was pregnant, I knew I wanted to do a black and white nursery. Once we found out it was a boy, we took off running with the idea and here's what we came up with. A sweet gift handmade gift from a dear friend, Melissa. Lee's first football helmet had to make it to Cole's bookshelf. My husbands...

http://100yardsoflove.blogspot.com/2014/02/miss-kays-chicken-chow-mein.html
Tuesday, February 18, 2014. Miss Kay's Chicken Chow Mein. At Christmas, my mom gave me Miss Kay's Duck Commander Kitchen Cookbook. I've made several recipes and they are all DELICIOUS! Really. If you like southern comfort food or cajun cooking, order the cookbook NOW. Your husband will thank you. With that being said, I decided to try another recipe from Miss Kay last night. Pork and Chicken Chow Mein. At first I thought, a cajun making Chinese? This is where it gets ugly. Haha So pizza it was for dinner!

Saturday, March 21, 2015. Favorite Baby Items up to 2 Months. Aveeno Diaper Rash Cream-. You have had a few diaper rashes, and one really bad rash. I have tried several different creams and keep coming back to Aveeno. It's the only one that is strong enough to handle the job, yet gentle enough that it soothes him and doesn't upset his already raw skin. Little giraffe blanket/Aden and anais bamboo blanket/Vonbon Blankets- These blankets are my favorites! Aden and Anais Bamboo Blanket. I LOVE Vonbon. T...

100 Yards of Love: Frozen Baby Snacks
http://100yardsoflove.blogspot.com/2015/09/frozen-baby-snacks.html
Monday, September 7, 2015. Ever since Cole started teething, I've had a difficult time getting him to eat solid foods. He seems to lose interest quickly and some days only desires his bottle. After talking with a fellow momma, she recommended I try freezing small bite size amounts of his baby food. So I got to work. Left: Peas / Right: Spinach Raspberry Yogurt. Cole devoured his frozen bites! Note: be careful about the size you freeze and give your child- no one wants choking babes]. Get to Know Us Better.

Wednesday, January 28, 2015. I can't believe an entire month has past since Cole arrived; yet, part of me feels like he's been a part of our lives forever. Time is quickly passing and he is growing oh so fast. I love watching him grow, but wish he will stay my little snuggle buddy forever. We love you little Cole, more than you will ever know! You switched from newborn to 3month clothing at 3 weeks old. Snuggles, your MamaRoo (this Momma's saving grace! And most importantly you LOVE to eat! And I love to...

100 Yards of Love: 8 Months Old
http://100yardsoflove.blogspot.com/2015/09/8-months-old.html
Monday, September 7, 2015. Little Cole is 8 months old! The joy and excitement he brings to our whole family is unmatchable. You always smile, no matter how you feel or what's happening. You love life! Cole LOVES peas. And peaches. He has a little left on his chin here. Ha! The "please stop taking pictures now, mama" look. I finally got a picture of him sneezing. He is adorable when he sneezes, but until now I've never been quick enough to capture it. Oh those fists. Too cute! Cole's favorite thing to do...

100 Yards of Love: Our Story
http://100yardsoflove.blogspot.com/p/our-story.html
It all started back in the summer of 2009. Little did I know what that year would have in store for me…. In the mid-October of that same year, I received a random phone call from a former teacher of mine (who at this point now has a classroom next door to my mother). And I had most definitely never entertained the idea of a blind date! So here I was… in what I thought at the time was a MAJOR. The night ended fairly painlessly until the “new coach” asked me to go out that Saturday night. Before I continue...

Tuesday, September 8, 2015. Favorite Baby Items up to 9 Months. Throughout this journey of motherhood, I've relied heavily upon my friends advice on which baby items to spend a little extra on and which ones it doesn't matter. So I thought I would pass on my list of favorites that have worked really well for our family over the past 9 months, especially now that Cole is getting more into the toddler phase. Invest in a nice highchair. Originally purchased a wooden high chair. Literally crashed. Sweet ...
