Saturday, October 27, 2012. The original reason for my trip to Utah is to help take care of my sister's 3 daughters while she is with her husband in Rhode Island. My brother in law, David, is graduating and then they are driving their car back to Utah. The awesome thing about the timing of this is that it coincided with my baby brother and his wife. Having their first baby! A part of me still thinks of him as the 5 year old that would snuggle up next to me on the couch. Don't every take it for granted!

We lost power around 7 pm last Monday night and didn't get it back again until Tuesday evening around 5 pm (we were the lucky ones.some people didn't get power back until Friday or Saturday). Monday, December 13, 2010. We will now have a moment of silence to commemorate this amazing fact. I think I did a pretty good job for a first attempt. Here are my before and after pictures with a close-up of the before bow (gag). As an added bonus, here's a cool picture of Tom in his new prescription safety glasses for work. Isn't he studly? Saturday, January 30, 2010. Trip to "Point No Point". A year ago our YW/YM youth group went to a place called Hurricane Ridge for our big combined activity. This is one of the few places in this area that gets regular snow fall. The kids got to play in the snow and ha. One of the benefits is it cut the trip by about a third. The day. Lots of things to smell and look at. We walked down the beach, while Tom took pictures of everything. Sounds pretty typical huh? It was a great day and I really enjoyed it!

I still am, but in 4 hours we have had a good few things happen. 1 ALLIE POOPED IN THE POTTY ON HER OWN-meaning no prompting. (like I stated in earlier post-we weren't doing so hot.) YEA! It takes a mommy to know how wonderful this is! 2 The children went to bed beautifully. Baths, Brushing teeth, Stories, Bible, Prayers, Song and SLEEP! Story because, I'm frankly- exhausted.

This is us walking up the flights of stairs to our party on the veranda. We were actually taking bets as to which brother would end up in the fountians! Doesn't Jaxon look dapper in Calvin Klein? I could not keep that mans jacket on or his cuffs rolled down, oh well, he looked like himself!
