Friday, January 23, 2009. Orientation ended today and we got a huge stack of textbooks. It took me two trips to carry them up to my room. After that a group of us decided to take the bus to a nearby town (Albano) for exploring and dinner. We walked down a very busy road that looks like it only has one lane, but actually supports two-way traffic that zips along at 30-50 mph. It had no sidewalk and a basically nonexistent shoulder. After that we waited for about 15 min for the bus. Through danger they wend.

I hope to catch up sometime next week, though I might not be able to as we are all leaving for Greece next Friday and my computer will probably not be coming with me.
