Through A Glass, Darkly: Blurry Self Portrait

Through A Glass, Darkly. Photos, techniques, minutiae, etc. Saturday, September 28, 2013. I recently saw a post. Over on FilmWasters.com. Where the author/artist posted a whole roll of photos where he admittedly. Made quite a few mistakes with focusing and exposure. They were blurry, but still picturesque. They were taken on expired color film, so the color and contrast were shifted slightly which lent more to the painterly qualities. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Kodak slide dupe film. Through A Glass, Darkly. Photos, techniques, minutiae, etc. Monday, April 20, 2015. Here is a list of the materials I ended up using:. Thick Tape (Gorilla Tape). The following is just my experience. I am not suggesting that you do this. Razors are sharp and you can get cut if you are not careful. Please don't sue me if you cut yourself or ruin a bunch of film. Through A Glass, Darkly: Perforating 126 Film II
http://jamesharrphoto.blogspot.com/2014/11/perforating-126-ilm-ii.html
Through A Glass, Darkly. Photos, techniques, minutiae, etc. Saturday, November 8, 2014. Perforating 126 Film II. I thought I would follow up with a little bit of what I've learned after using the perforating rig. On two rolls and running them through the Kodak Instamatic 500. And here is one of the film I perforated. One last issue is frame spacing. I used an old roll of 126 film to position the holes in the jig, but the holes in the film are oblong, so I just aimed for the center. That made the ...Here ...

Through A Glass, Darkly: Perforating 126 Film
http://jamesharrphoto.blogspot.com/2014/10/perforating-126-film.html
Through A Glass, Darkly. Photos, techniques, minutiae, etc. Friday, October 31, 2014. A while back, I got the idea that I wanted an Instamatic camera. Why would I want an archaic camera for which film is nigh impossible to find? In fact, the only place to find "new" 126 format film is at the Frugal Photographer with an anything but frugal price tag of $25/roll! The only rational thing I could think to do is to make my own 126 film. Update: Go see PART II. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). There isnt a ...

Through A Glass, Darkly: New 8x10 Pinhole
http://jamesharrphoto.blogspot.com/2013/09/new-8x10-pinhole.html
Through A Glass, Darkly. Photos, techniques, minutiae, etc. Monday, September 16, 2013. So I decided to make another pinhole camera. For this one I had contact printing in mind. That meant BIGGER NEGATIVES! So I have a box of 8x10 sheets of Kodak CSG x-ray film in the freezer that I have been cutting down to 4x5 for the Speed Graphic. Why not burn through some of that cheap stuff and have some fun along the way? I also happened to have some left over black foam core from my previous 6x12cm pinhole camera.
