July 28, 2015. Wildlife and Glacier Cruise with the Family. They said it was the first one that they had seen during the season. After 6 hours we were on our way back to Seward. It was the best cruise I have ever been on, we saw more wild life in those 6 hours then I have seen in 4 years living in Alaska. April 3, 2015. I still can't believe this young lady turned 12! She is the most amazing girl ever and we all love her so much! She received many gifts and loved them all. She started wearing mascara which I haven't really gotten over yet. Although she looks so cute. Her big surprise gift was a new desk from Grandma Barb and Grandpa Kamakau for her bedroom! She had the hugest smile on her face when she opened the card and saw the picture of it. It hadn't arrived yet but it made her day! In My Spare Time.

April 4, 2015. Kaikane celebrated his 8th birthday over General Conference weekend! He was so excited, that he was turning 8! I on the other hand cannot believe this little guy is already 8! He was the cutest baby and we just love him to death! Kaikane is so sweet and gentle and soft hearted, and yet all boy! He loves playing outside with his friends, loves his teacher at school, and still doesn't let me kiss him! He was given his first set of scriptures from Grandma and Grandpa Napoleon. In My Spare Time.

March 27, 2015. Kalei had a few of her good friends over to help her celebrate her 12th birthday. She loved all of the gifts she received, a scarf a gift card to the mall, gum, a nail polish kit! Can you tell she is entering her teen years? We laid out a bunch of supplies for the girls to paint their fingernails. Gave each of them their own nail file and clippers. They all helped each other with their paint and Jamberry wraps and had a good time talking and laughing. She is beautiful and looks so happy!

Wednesday, December 30, 2009. We read and acted out the Nativity Scene with the kids. I love this part of Christmas. The kids are so sweet in remembering our Savior! Its like the quiet before the storm of Christmas morning. This year, we pulled off the ultimate surprise for the kids. Santa actually delivered Papa and Nana to us on Christmas morning! It always amazes me how quickly we go from perfect presents under the tree to "after the storm hit" the family room. We stayed for hours and enjoyed the view.

Just in case you're wondering, this is where I grew up. Sometimes I forget how amazing the mountains are, but each time I return I am reminded how truly majestic they are!
