A peek into my thought process. I pulled onto the Froedtert Hospital and my eyes welled up with tears. The sign shared that it was also a Children’s Hospital. Seeing that sign made my response to others so much more real: I should keep my kidney in case my kids need it when someone else’s needs it now? How real are those fears? Not very. So what if any of them are true? Six months later we were engaged. It was like God was saying, Okay, Cheri, you figured it out! How much of that stuff do they need!
