ANGEL PATCH LANE: Finishing the Quilt
http://angelpatchlane.blogspot.com/2013/02/finishing-quilt.html
Thursday, February 28, 2013. I’m so thrilled to get my quilt back. I had sent my quilt to a lady in town here few weeks ago to get machine quilted. She phone last Friday that the quilt was done and I eagerly rushed over to pick up my quilt. The quilt turned out great. She did a very simple all over stitchery design. I love the mixture of colors in the quilt. I enjoyed making this quilt having the benefit of using lots of leftover of material. So of course I had to start on the binding to finish the quilt.

ANGEL PATCH LANE: March 2011
http://angelpatchlane.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 21, 2011. 8220;QUILT TELLS A STORY”. Between other projects I finally got my quilting journal cover done. As I was putting the journal cover together I felt something was missing. After some soul searching I came to the conclusion I needed to add a poem. I search through my stash of poems that inspire me and found “Quilt tells a Story”. I quickly embroidered the poem and redid the journal cover. I started working on few of the blocks Sunday afternoon. I’m not following the cutting...After a...

ANGEL PATCH LANE: November 2011
http://angelpatchlane.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 3, 2011. My life is slowing settling back to a normal pace. After a hectic summer I’m looking forward to restoring my precious time for sewing. I’m on a mission to complete some unfinished projects. I spent two nights last week embroidering my new pattern that I sketch a few weeks ago. I love how adorable the girl comes across standing in the midst the flowers. She looks so sweet. No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

ANGEL PATCH LANE: Vintage Ladder
http://angelpatchlane.blogspot.com/2013/06/vintage-ladder_9.html
Sunday, June 9, 2013. Few weekends ago I checked out some gift shops. I was browsing through a country primitive store when I discover some vintage ladders hiding in a corner. I’ve seen this look in magazines where old vintage ladder were used for country decorating and hanging quilts. I love the look of handing quilts displayed on a vintage ladder and always wanted one. I got excited and purchase the vintage ladder with images of quilts dancing in my head decorating the ladder. It was a happy day.

I have felt disheartened and down in the dump with the passing of my brother in-law and his family has been on my mind. I told myself it was time to get back into the swing of sewing again. I can hardly wait to get into my flower beds. I made my first purchases for the year, these four lovely flower pots. I...

ANGEL PATCH LANE: January 2013
http://angelpatchlane.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 13, 2013. I discovered a quilt pattern in a magazine called Peaceful Valley. I love the colors and design in the quilt which looks easy and quick to make. Best of all I wouldn't have to buy any fabric at all for this quilt. I’ve scraps of fabric that have been waiting to be put into action and this is the perfect quilt to use them. Love the rich blend of colors the fabric displays in the blocks. I can hardly wait to finish the quilt. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
