An Alaskan Wood Carvers Creative Ramblings. Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Terry was commissioned to carve this pair as a Christmas gift. They were a first and he so enjoyed carving them, especially the painting. He switched to oil paints after taking a class at Krausman's Woodcarving Studio in Michigan this last August and really likes painting with oils. When it came time for the Quack Shack to be taped and textured he worked out a trade with cousin Peggy. She did the work and he carved her a duck.
