Sunday, June 9, 2013. We had Joseph's baby blessing on March 31, Easter Sunday. We gave him the name Joseph Marquard Sypher. He is named after the prophet Joseph Smith and, of course, Heather's amazing dad, Marquard Dale Carter. We hope he'll look to their examples throughout his life. We were so glad Dad was able to be here for his namesake's blessing! And I'm so grateful to be married to a worthy priesthood holder who can give the Lord's blessing to our children! Sunday, December 15, 2013. As you all know, I've always had a soft spot for Simon's curls. They're adorable. Simon playing with his friend Eisley and her girl toys. But let's face it, they were getting out of control. And people were starting to think he was a girl. My babysittees: Zoe and Dean. So even though they were so darn cute. It was time to do something about them. Because Simon just can't pull off the ponytail look. Sunday, December 8, 2013. Thing 1 and Thing 2. This is a very serious occasion.

Tuesday, September 17, 2013. We spent most of our summer in Utah with the Carter/Parkinson side of the family, but there was plenty of excitement from the Sypher side as well! First off there was the Sypher family reunion on the Oregon coast. We spent the night at Jake's parents house on the way. We bought a bike trailer for the reunion. Simon and Malachi had fun cruising together. Grandma taking Simon out for a ride. Simon discovered scooters. Enough said. I'm pretty sure this stroller can do three.

Sunday, September 21, 2014. Christmas with the Carters. After pre-Christmas with the Syphers we drove down to the Carter house in time for Christmas Eve. We loved hanging out with the Clements clan while we were there. There's nothing quite as cute as cousins in matching PJ's! Simon loved chilling with his Uncle Cody. Grandma and Grandpa got matching PJ's too :). Jake and I were pretty stoked helping Santa get these presents under the tree. Simon loved his new "balance bike". And also Melhana's stroller.

Sunday, March 3, 2013. Simon's 1 Year Old Adventures! With the new baby almost here I thought I'd take a minute to highlight this handsome little man! Simon turned a year old in December and seems to be learning new things everyday! Unfortunately, we're experiencing some camera difficulties so I haven't been able to capture most of them, but you can see the fun photo shoot we did with him while you read the stories. This kid is taking advantage of his mobility! Simon is mastering the art of climbing!

Monday, May 20, 2013. First off, this kid is two months old! We can't get enough of his adorable smiles. He even giggles sometimes! Then there's this kid, who makes a great cowboy (thank you Jewelene for the great cowboy boots)! Put them together and you have a great combo of cuteness! This is a picture of Simon when he was Joseph's size. Not Joseph's age, Joseph's size. When they first met. Simon likes to share his toys with Joseph. And he tries to put his binkie in his mouth. We love our little buddies!
