今日からロサンゼルスに出張するので成田にいるのだが、出張前日が土用丑の日ということで、成田に前泊した。 知らなかったのだが、成田は江戸時代からウナギの町として栄えていたらしい。新勝寺へ続く参道にはたくさんのウナギやが軒を連ねている。その中でも一番行列していた川豊に並んでいた。多くのウナギやが軒先で生きた鰻を絞めて、さばいている。 混んでいるが、食券制で回転も速いので行列していた時間は１５分ほど。店の中は煙で充満している。服はウナギの燻製状態になった。 焼き場では、毎日新聞のカメラマンが１時間ほど煙にまみれて一生懸命写真を撮っていた。明らかに仕事のじゃまをしていた。でも、しっかりと翌日の朝刊に掲載されていたので、よしとする。 お子様メニューのレモンスカッシュとシロノワール。レモンスカッシュはシロップが別添えでくるほどの酸っぱさで、オーセンティックな味。 すき焼きと網焼きを一人前ずつ。お肉も一枚ずつ。一人前150グラム程度だそうだ。 で、よく朝、伊勢神宮へ。 ところどころに柵でおおわれている石があり、そこに手をかざしている人がいる。パワースポットらしい。 Rolex Bamford and Sons.

北島に気づいたのはセキュリティレーンのところ。前に並んでいたのが北島だった。サングラスをしていたが、すぐにわかった。マクドナルドのCMに出ているせいか、ラウンジでもマックを食べていた。 中田は、ラウンジで待っていたところにVIP室に入っていくのを目撃した。JALの人が気を利かせて同じラウンジにいた北島を中田に引き合わせているようだった。 写真は成田で荷物がでるところを待つ中田の後姿。機内持ち込みのトロリーはヴィトンで、受託荷物はリモワだった。 一階が食料品、二階が雑貨や土産物、フードコートになっている。 2日目のディナーは、英雄広場近くのBagolyvarへ。あとに食べるレストランのGundelと同じ経営で、こちらのほうがカジュアルな感じ。 食べたのは、サラダに、ハンガリー名物のグヤーシュスープ、なぜかシュニッツェルとポークソテーのホワグラ添え。 値段もリーズナブル。グヤーシュスープは2人分くらいあって、これだけでおなかいっぱい。ゴロゴロとしたビーフがかなりうまかった。また行きたい。 This is a Flickr badge showing public photos from junsato.
