I don't even remember what the other plate called. It wasn't too good and JJ had no idea what it is. It's probably the invention of the owner but not a traditional French plate. I guess it's croque provencal because it's topped with tomato. The taste was not as exciting as the other two pastries, it looked more fancy/gourmet though. Garden Grove, CA 92843.

The concept is fresh and fun. People go in the store and grab a cup which only has one size. My current favorite: caffee latte, taro, french vanilla (i like peanut butter too. but i know you would think "oh no, it's so gross" but it really tastes nice). The favors I highly disgust: Green Apple, pistachio.

We shared so much fun together. He is a big meat lover so I brought him to the all-you-can-eat korean barbecque in Korean Town. Manna is one of the most popular restaurant in K-town because it got the outdoor part for smokers. The food and service is okay but at least I got nothing to complain. Sunday, June 8, 2008.

As I keep saying in previous entries, I miss yogurts a lot from United States. When I was there, yogurt is the major food of my diet. Out of all brands, I love yoplait the most. Wednesday, August 31. 只是在我們部門做暑期工的小同事今天跟我們道別. 年輕的她為我們帶來朝氣, 她也是同事們的"零食供應商", 明天望著丟空的座位會令人不太習慣. 剛好31/8也是兩位資歷深的老闆離開公司的日子. 看著這些精緻的"散水餅", 有點唏噓. Tuesday, August 30. 雖然玩的東西不多, 買得也不多, 這是很美好的旅程. 我對泰國的印象很好, 泰國人也親切自然, 不過短期內不會重遊. 帶一本書去泰國: 我選了米蘭‧昆德拉的《緩慢》. 在旅途上看完這本書, 就讓我放慢我的生活, 以減慢記憶隨時間溜走的速度. 有工作, 有親切的同事, 感到十分幸福. Friday, September 30. 中午飯是同事們替我辦的送別午餐, 點了一桌的點心呢. 人齊的時候果真是非常熱鬧. 晚上把電腦裡有用的東東燒成光碟, 把小鐵櫃滾到新位置, 完成了一天的作業. 為了歡送自己 (這句說起來怪怪的), 昨晚花了兩個半小時做白朱古力焦糖榛子慕士蛋糕. 可是家裡沒有足夠的忌廉, 分量量度錯, 打不起. 蛋糕很好吃, 焦糖榛子也很好吃, 就是慕士做不到, 整個蛋糕報廢. Sunday, July 31. 公司一年一度的嘉年華會又到. 為了支持各路朋友, 我繼續報名做工作人員, 順道替同事們拍照打氣. 我負責的就是為小組登記、 奔走派發和收集計分紙、交計分紙到後方的計算中心、把分數結果寫上公布板. 一共有四個遊戲, 每個遊戲有三組, 因此整個下午我都在跑來跑去. 多得計分人員包容我的笨拙, 還有其他同事的協助, 一切都進行得十分順利. 在這種大型公司活動可以見到很多認識但平常很少碰見、很少合作機會的同事, 也會和很多不同的人合作, 感覺十分有趣. 很累, 卻很值得. 我的部門拿了一個獎項, 有點意外, 也為他們高興. 和久別的前秘書小姐相見, 看到她精神奕奕的, 祝她健康快樂. Tuesday, October 11. 乘船大約45分鐘便到了, 第一次遠眺Discovery Bay, 的確有點點世外桃源的感覺. 坪洲的橫街小巷跟長洲很相像, 可就是沒那麼多人, 走起來舒服多了. 我們往島的北面走, 先挑戰那崎嶇的山路. 天氣有點涼涼的, 那怕太陽那麼猛烈也不會太炎熱. 拐一個彎到沙灘那邊, 哈哈, 看到迪士尼樂園呢! 未去過, 看看也好. 看了一會, 發現山坡陣陣的濃煙, 難道是甚麼工程在進行? 看到有直昇機在灑水, 回家聽到新聞報導也確實如此, 就在樂園的附近發生山火. 人真的很疏忽, 這麼一燒, 又不知山坡何時能回復原狀. 一路走到山腳, 陸陸續續碰到拜祭的人, 要是在平常日子人會更少吧. Thursday, April 10. 人生總有不吐不快的事, 見到各位發起/參與傳遞虛擬聖火的活動便躍躍欲試, 參一腳看看, 擔上這個把聖火傳經"北角-炮台山"的任務. 我習慣寫的都是生活裡的風花雪月、 雞毛蒜皮的所見所想, 皆為無甚志向之事, 以下感想倒讓大家見笑了. 若把中國描寫為"大惡人", 恐怕中國再做多多擦亮招牌的動作都補救不了中國政府今次面對的PR crisis了. 或許中國政府根本不在乎這些, 只要商機無限、財源滾滾就足夠. 若非西藏事件這"湯裡的蒼蠅", 奧運在中國人眼中不是令國家起飛的踏板嗎? 目光放回香港, 最看不過眼的是(1) 傳遞聖火的人有多少是跟運動扯上關係 (一如tatat 所講. 我睇返以前嘅post, 百感交集. 而家重新上路喇, 請多指教!
