Met and fell in love with the people in the Philippines, came home shifted out of our hose and are living with friends and are planning to go back to the Philippines in 5 weeks. Shared items in Google Reader. 台灣金車喝瑪蘭單一純麥威士忌 Kalavan Single Malt Whiskey. 某次兩位台灣朋友來港，相約碰面，自然離不開酒酣耳熱；言談間說起威士忌，友人就介紹了這隻台灣土炮：它出名的原因很簡單，話說當年它在 Blind Tasting 中擊敗蘇格蘭的三支威士忌和一支英格蘭而取得最高分數。友人說，因台灣天氣濕熱，酒的熟成比蘇格蘭地區快得多，故而以較短的窖藏時間已得到不錯的熟度。所以，不同於絕大部分常見的窖藏了十二以至廿一年的威士忌，這支喝瑪蘭只窖藏了三年便裝瓶。 只是此酒一點都不易找，香港固之然見也見不到，連去台北旅遊的友人和踏破鐵鞋才帶了一支回來，更是禮盒包裝。 閑話少說，今晚一夜無事，遂開了這酒來試。為了比較，順便把 Glenfiddich 18 years old 都倒了一杯一齊比較。 Kavalan Single Malt Whiskey.
