Venom 3D Print | CGmodeling.com

Michael Milano, 3D Artist. The Venom has been printed! A while back I had won a Sculpteo 3D Print from an Easter challenge on CGTrader. This allowed me to check out their printing resolution with a design of my choice, which came out pretty good for a 2.9 inch height model. Secondly, it allowed me to test out how thin I could shell him. The entire model is printed with a 1.4mm shell. 1.4mm! You can see in the ZBrush screenshots and photo from the Venom’s bottom how thin it is. Tagged on: 3D Print.

Michael Milano, 3D Artist. My first jewelry design piece! I was surprised and thrilled to receive a copy from the manufacturer, and will post when they have the Jesus pendant live and for sale. It was a pleasure working with the retailer to get the design specs, and served as a great learning tool in figuring out how to properly size and prep ZBrush files for printing jewelry. Centaur Print | CGmodeling.com

Michael Milano, 3D Artist. Toys will be Toys! Split up into 11 fitted parts to make gluing easier, the initial pass of the Centaur kit came out perfectly balanced. It is put together at 8 inches height with medium quality resolution. You can see the second round of individual parts printed with much better material, and was greatly impressed by the resolution output by Shapeways. In fact, I couldn’t be happier! The torso and horse body parts are hollowed out to reduce printing costs. December 4, 2014.
