Saturday, August 11, 2012. We all went to the Cabin for Grandma Shannon's Birthday.We kind of crashed the party that she and aunt Lieu Lieu were having but I think they were glad to see us! Dad cooked us some fabulous hamburgers and hotdogs. We sang Happy Birthday to Grandma Shannon over the darling, delish and patriotic Triffle Alesha made. Then we took a fun little walk. We even had to cross the river.Yikes! The kids had fun skipping rocks and hanging out with their cousins. The original Lovell Clan.

Saturday, July 14, 2012. Our Alaskan Cruise Part 3. Aka one of the best parts of the trip for me! Thursday morning we cruise into Glacier Bay National Park. We woke up to a park ranger telling us about the park. It was really fun to hear about how they drove out in a boat and then got on a little string ladder to get onto the ship. Last night Gabs asked if she could see her blanket. You see, I took it away a few months ago. She's big enough now not to have her blanket to sleep with. So I made her quit cold turkey. I remember talking about a blanket intervention. All the while still smiling with her blanket under her nose. What a cutie. I love my job! I told her about the day she was born. She loves to hear about how we waited and waited and waited. Until she finally decided to come the next day. And when she came out, she screamed. She likes to do her baby crying impression at this point in the story. She loves. She was so excited to see her friends. She mentioned that she didn't think that they would even recognize her. Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Our Alaskan Adventure.the final chapter :). We had some time between when we got off the ship and when our flight left so we signed up for one last excursion.The Seattle Highlights tour. We toured around the city in a bus and then our driver took us to the space needle where we were able to go check that out for a bit. Monday, October 31, 2011. Our Halloween Festivities started out toward the middle of the month with a Sleepover at Grandma Shannon's house with cousins. Phil and Alesha's kids were there Along with Jeff and Kristie's bunch. Grandma bought all of the kids Jammie's and made sugar cookies to decorate. The kids had a blast decorating cookies and watching Halloween movies together. Then of course pictures in Jammie's and off to bed. I think I had a touch of the flu this night.it was rough. I came across this picture today from our trip to California. What a great time we had! Even if we drove 22 straight hours to get there and another 22 to get back.with 4 kids age 6 and under. Are we crazy? When it comes to getting us to the beach to stay on an ocean front property with Grandma and Grandpa in sunny California, we'd do just about anything.
