With God, family, and friends. Sunday, August 3, 2008. Vacation - Day 2. Sorry, I don't have that one scanned in yet. :( Here is a picture of me boarding the ship that Janet took. Once on board, we located our cabin, but since we were some of the first persons boarding, our cabin was not ready. Therefore, we tried to familiarize ourselves with the lay of the land (or ship) in our case! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Janet - the other 1/2 of FPS. Pink, Brown and Teal Quilt Project for JDRF. Traveling Thru Life: The First 6 Months of 2010
http://travelingthrulife.blogspot.com/2010/06/its-certainly-been-long-time-since-ive.html
With God, family, and friends. Wednesday, June 16, 2010. The First 6 Months of 2010. It's certainly been a long time since I've blogged. We've started a new decade. We've had more snow this past winter than I care to remember, followed by a fair amount of spring rain. Now summer is almost here with its long, warm and humid days. I'm so glad I live in an area of the country that experiences all 4 seasons. God's handiwork in all of them. January - too cold. February - too much snow. Be good and God bless,.

http://travelingthrulife.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
With God, family, and friends. Monday, April 28, 2008. Nashville wrap-up - LONG. Where does the time go? I can't believe that I've been home for a week! I finally got over the plague, whew! Now my right ear is bothering me and I can't seem to get it clear. Luckily, I didn't have any trouble flying. I'll probably need to go back to the doctor to get it done "professionaly". Alas. We wandered through the hotel and found where registration was and got checked in. Then we went to forage for some dinner b...

Traveling Thru Life: Journal Your Christmas -- Day 2
http://travelingthrulife.blogspot.com/2009/12/journal-your-christmas-day-2.html
With God, family, and friends. Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Journal Your Christmas - Day 2. I don't know about you, but I hate being cold and wet all at the same time. Maybe that's why I dislike snow so much. As a child on cold winter days, I would much prefer to stay inside and do crafts or watch TV. I didn't like sledding and skiing to me is a death simulation sport! As an adult, snow means work! Being single, I'm the one responsible for shoveling the yucky white stuff and clearing off my car.

http://travelingthrulife.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
With God, family, and friends. Monday, November 24, 2008. Life has its UPS and downs. On Saturday, November 15, my friend Gabby from church married Mark Owens. Although, she only met him in July, they truly believe that God brought them together. It was a small, but fun wedding. I had to leave the reception before they cut the cake (bummer! Because the choir was also singing that weekend. They began on Tuesday to put siding on our house. It looks GORGEOUS! We also heard that our good friend Kelly's daugh...

Traveling Thru Life: October 2008
http://travelingthrulife.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
With God, family, and friends. Thursday, October 30, 2008. Need I Say More. Last time my Philadelphia Phillies won the World Series, I was a senior in high school. Times have changed, but one of America's favorite pastimes hasn't. It's still one man with a stick of wood facing another man throwing a little ball with stiches at you which you try to hit as far as you can. I'm thinking of going to the parade tomorrow, just because I can. Be good and God bless,. Photo credit: Michael Heiman/Getty Images.
