In March 2010, my hubby and I bought our 1st home on the second story. Of a tree-lined street in Chicago. Combined, the two of us had lived in 16 different places (not including college), and our hearts desired to be planted in a community where we could dig our heels in. We are so thankful we did. Our second story apartment represents much more than a comfy place to put up our feet (although it certainly is that); it represents our call to be light. What I do when the Mr. is away. While the Mr. was traveling for work last week, I decided it was time to catch up on some house projects I've had on my list for awhile. My goal was to spend as little money as possible and use some things that were stashed away in the guest room closet. Just a quick trip to Home Goods and Depot and I was ready to get started. I started with a set of wall prints that were on their way to Goodwill. Bought a can of chalkboard paint for $9.99. Project #2: Frame makeover.

Monday, June 24, 2013. Chicago had our very first One Small Step 2-mile walk this weekend to raise money for PWS research. We are the 70th location to host a walk and raised over $40,000 that goes directly to research. I am so thankful. To all of our friends who supported us, either financially or from coming to the walk. It was a special day for all of us! Asher brought in nearly $2000 thanks to all the amazing people who love and support him. Saturday, June 15, 2013. No excuses, just busy as normal!
