Brit in South Africa. Sunday, April 20, 2008. Well its been awhile again so get ready for another long post. Haha People here don’t get that crazy for concerts either. It’s like they’re a little less start crazy. You can have a major artist who is all over the radio here and crowds don’t show up hours before the concert to see him. People are really friendly as always. So it was a really fun night overall. We got a few free things like FOAM HANDS! I enjoyed myself and was glad that gone in the end.

Brit in South Africa. Tuesday, May 6, 2008. The grass is always greener on the other side. I am struggling to think where to begin this blog. A lot has been going on since the last time I wrote. In the past two weeks I have been incredibly busy. About two weeks ago I was very busy with schoolwork and sporting events. I made my way to my first soccer game here! Continuing on with sporting events I got to watch a Cubs vs. Brewers game last night! One of our friends taped it for us and brought it over!

Brit in South Africa. Monday, January 28, 2008. I’M IN CAPE TOWN! We then had an 8-hour lay over in London. Heathrow airport is more like a shopping mall than an airport. They have a ton of high-end fashion stores and fancy restaurants. We were going to try and get out in London but our flight left late from Chicago and then arrived extra late in London. By the time we go through security we only had about 4 hours before our next flight. To say the least we obviously were watching the clock closely.

Sorry it has been the longest time since I’ve written or posted any pictures. My whole reasoning behind it was because I was leaving in just a month and it would be so much easier to just tell and show everyone in person.
