you have just been chemmed: How does growth hormones effect our cows?
http://reppingdat302.blogspot.com/2008/01/how-does-growth-hormones-effect-our.html
You have just been chemmed. If you are a chem guru and want to really enjoy a nice walk on the beach to talk about chem then hit me up. Tuesday, January 29, 2008. How does growth hormones effect our cows? The hormone actually decreases the cows' original production if they stop injecting it. Chemistry is needed to understand this to understand the reaction that takes place. Without our knowledge that reactions lead to other reactions we would not fully comprehend that the rBGH leads to the release of...

OH-NO!: February 2008
http://molecularsolution.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Hydroxide nitrous monoxide isn’t possible! Tuesday, February 12, 2008. The first blog I visited was Amanda’s. She explained the complex lactic acid process that occurs when we exert our muscles. I was really surprised that hydrogen ions are essential to the process, and when they leave, our muscles become acidic. They start hurting because of this acidity, but are not the cause of soreness the day after a difficult workout. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Scientific explanation of Bt. View my complete profile.

Hunter Gatherer: Reflective paragraph
http://huntergatherer08.blogspot.com/2007/12/reflective-paragraph.html
Sunday, December 2, 2007. Thanks, Hunter. You did a nice job collecting research and narrowing your topic. Soon, we will investigate the quality of the articles by exploring the links and the sponsors/authors. I though you'd be interested to look a bit further into one of your links : the one entitled "importance of amino acids". Why don't you investigate the "Home" link and other links to the left? What do you think about the validity and quality of this information? Very Interesting, eh?

Chem Princess: Other Classmate's blogs

Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Mrs V, I know my blog is posted late- I've been sick for the last week, sorry! First, I read Julia's blog about "going green". Taking AP Environmental Science this year, I have paid more attention to the movement towards becoming more environmentally friendly. I'm really glad to know that many companies and industries are making that switch to making less wastes that are harmful to our environment (especially Hercules because I live 3.5 seconds away from there! And finally I r...

OH-NO!: Preservatives
http://molecularsolution.blogspot.com/2007/12/preservatives.html
Hydroxide nitrous monoxide isn’t possible! Sunday, December 2, 2007. Does diet soda make you a thinner person, or does it rot you bones (like one of my friends says). In my opinion, water is never a bad choice, and if you are really concerned about your bones rotting away then drink more milk or take some calcium supplements. So preservatives aren't so bad after all. It's the pesticides that are bad. Tsk tsk tsk. December 3, 2007 at 12:11 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Pesticides and the Bt gene.

Rick's Chem: The Usefulness of Wikipedia
http://rickschem.blogspot.com/2007/12/reliability-of-wikipedia.html
My blog will focus on nuclear energy! Thursday, December 6, 2007. The Usefulness of Wikipedia. As far as internet sources go, we have been taught to always respect subscription encyclopedias (such as Britannica), government websites, and university databases. We have been taught to question the sites of “random” individuals and sites without a listed author unless we can confirm these facts with those from a database that we can trust. Some critics argue that not all of the information on Wikipedia can n...

Rick's Chem: December 2007
http://rickschem.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
My blog will focus on nuclear energy! Tuesday, December 18, 2007. In my research, I plan on comparing nuclear energy to other energy sources. In my first specific area of exploration, I will investigate the chemical reactions that occur in nuclear and other types of power plants. In my second specific area, I will examine the costs, the practicality, and side effects of each type of power plant from my first area. Also, I posted on Julia, Gealina, and Alison’s blogs. Thursday, December 6, 2007. As far as...
