The kids had the opportunity to be performers in the 50th year celebration of the Nativity pageant at Heritage Park in Calgary. Monday, October 07, 2013. We are back at it . . . school, homework, seminary, dance, activities, and lots of. The Cavaliers have a pretty strong team this year. They came in second in our home tournament. Lost by just a couple of points. Georgia and Kailey are the captains of this team. A little back row hitting action from Kailey at the Bishop Carroll tournament. And then from there we go to watch the Ernest Manning High School Senior boys. Battle it out playing some amazing volleyball! Sadie on one ski.

Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Sadie's Christmas Dance Performance. Sadie had her Christmas Dance Performance this last weekend. Her troupe group performed 3 numbers and then the whole troupe of about 60 kids performed a finale that was over 11 minutes long. It was amazing. Saturday, June 14, 2014. Flag Football Season 2014. Spring sports are a bit of a whirlwind in Calgary. Kailey has been busy with badminton and then flag football starts overlapping with badminton season. She spends a lot of time on the field and in the gym. This year her team was pretty good. Kailey is the female receiver on our team. A little running action to keep the team undefeated all season. City championships at McMann Stadium! This was a tough night! Friday, September 06, 2013. Because of all the crazy flooding that went on in Calgary at the end of June, Sadie's final dance show was cancelled. I was so disappointed because she had learned new dances I hadn't seen before and even had a few new costumes that didn't get a chance to see the stage. We decided to do a little photo shoot with all of her costumes. A few action shots! JJ trying to imitate Sadie. You can see the difference between grace and not so graceful! This is no easy thing to do!

Friday, October 26, 2012. WE GOT THREE OF THEM! Carson, and Kailey took the referee course this year and are starting to ref basketball games to earn some money. Darcy took the course with them even though he has been a ref for years he decided to go brush up on the new modified FIBA rules they are playing these days. Plus it helps him when coaching - he usually knows the rules better than the refs do! That is a travel, a block, and . . . Did we call that? JJ Plays REAL basketball! High School Volleyball...

Tuesday, January 29, 2013. We are into the thick of basketball season at school for Kailey. She has played a lot of basketball in the last 2 weeks. Coach Valente is so happy to have Kailey on the team this year. Don't play such close defense #11 or she will burn you! A little outside shot! Even though she is one of the tallest players on the team. She ends up bringing the ball up the court quite a bit. Some foul shot action. The Cavaliers came second in their home tournament last week. Way to go Kailey!

Saturday, March 23, 2013. Kailey on the Court. Kailey has finished her last Calwest season. The only team they couldn't beat this season was Varsity and it was always a close game. Of course these were the 2 teams in the City Final. As this picture kind of shows it is always a brutal game when we play the red jerseys! The coaches on the sideline. Friday, February 21, 2014. Win some and lose some! Kailey played her last basketball game as a Cavalier tonight! Boy was it a tough one! They moved up to tier II because they wanted a more challenging play off grid. She played her heart out on Wednesday night in the semi final to win by about 18 points and now, the City Championship for the second year in a row. The team started off strong and Kailey scored the first few hoops. Our team just didn't play like they can and we had way too many turn overs!
